Hi, my name is Daniel Elizalde. Welcome to TechProductManagement!
Product Management for the Internet of Things (IoT) is my passion and area of expertise. I have experience managing IoT product portfolios and the complete lifecycle of end-to-end IoT solutions, including hardware, embedded software, cloud platforms, and user applications.
I have a solid combination of technology, business, and soft skills developed over 17+ years of experience as a product leader, consultant, and software engineer. Product management is where I bring all those skills together toward a common goal: creating and managing IoT products that solve a real customer need.
My diverse background includes working at Fortune 500 companies and growth-stage start-ups, as well as product companies and services companies.
I also teach the course “Product Management for the Internet of Things” at Stanford Continuing Studies. The course is attended by IoT Product Managers from leading Silicon Valley companies, and I was thrilled to learn that it has the highest demand of any course in Stanford Continuing Studies’ history.
Outside technology, I’m a man of many interests. I love juggling, tennis, drumming, salsa dancing and race car driving. But most of all, I love my friends, my family, and my beautiful wife Megan. Without them, none of this would be worth doing.
